Habitat-NYC's mission is to transform lives and our city by building quality homes for families in need and by uniting all New Yorkers around the cause of affordable housing. And while we’ve built over 250 homes for deserving families since our founding in 1984, it would take Habitat for Humanity over 5,500 years to meet the current housing deficit.

That is why we challenge governments, faith communities, corporations, and volunteers to raise their voices and pens as well as their hammers to solve the housing crisis here in New York City and across the globe!
