Queens Housing Facts
Queens is the most diverse county in the United States, a haven for new immigrants and people of all faiths and ethnicities. Queens is also in dire need of more affordable housing. Queens is home to the largest number of illegal, unregulated and unsafe makeshift housing units in New York.

Habitat-NYC recently completed six new homes on 110th Avenue and on 70th Street. We also have completed 11 Federal Housing Agency (FHA) sponsored homes in diverse neighborhoods, including South Ozone Park, St. Albans, Jamaica, Springfield Gardens and Woodhaven. We built three newly-constructed houses on Yates Road, two units on 146th Street and 172nd Street, and two newly-constructed homes on 110th Avenue.
