These new homes will be Habitat-NYC's first of over 100 homes in Central Brooklyn funded in part through the Department of Housing & Urban Development's Neighborhood Stabilization Program 2. In the coming months, hundreds of volunteers will work alongside the families who ultimately will live in them. They will meet green LEED and ENERGY STAR standards.
