Habitat for Humanity - New York City builds affordable homes for low-income families who currently live in overcrowded and substandard housing. We have built more than 180 homes throughout New York City, transforming lives and improving the community. However, New York’s affordable housing crisis is far too large for any one organization to solve. Click here to learn what else we are doing to imporve affordable housing in New York City.

Habitat-NYC builds in four boroughs, and we give preference to families currently living in the community where we are building. To qualify for a Habitat-NYC home, families must meet specific criteria.
