Habitat-NYC's Skilled Volunteers are amateur enthusiasts or professionals with construction skills who donate one full day or more a month volunteering at a Habitat-NYC construction site for the duration of a building project (approximately 9 months). Skilled volunteers are willing to share their skills with others by leading two or more unskilled volunteers through the building process. They support the organization's mission — to transform lives and our city by uniting all New Yorkers around the cause of decent, affordable housing for everyone.

We are currently looking for skilled volunteers with Thursday and Friday availabilities. Please read through the program description and contact Erin Jalloh if you are interested at ejalloh@habitatnyc.org.
