Brush with Kindness
The mission of Habitat-NYC's Brush with Kindness (BWK) program is to enhance, beautify and revitalize community spaces in New York City. BWK is about connecting the community through simple acts of kindness so that families can once again live in safe and decent neighborhoods.

We rehabilitate public schools, playgrounds, community centers and public parks, many in partnership with the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA). The scope of work typically includes painting interiors and murals, landscape gardening and/or other minor construction tasks. As part of our sustainable building practices, we only use low-VOC paint in the BWK program.
