Internship Opportunities Habitat-NYC’s internship program provides opportunities for individuals enrolled in higher education to work with Habitat - NYC staff members to assist in the creation of new programs and systems. Habitat - NYC internships are excellent opportunities for students to gain practical work experience and learn new skills while earning academic credit. Internship Enrollment Criteria: The decision to accept or not to accept an intern applicant is objective and fair. We are unable to accept all individuals that apply. Applicants must meet the following criteria: Be 16 years old or above. Have successfully completed one year of full undergraduate course work and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Provide two references. Agree to sign an internship agreement. Commit to 100 hours or more of service with at least 10 hours weekly.
